Field Onboarding Manager LOCATION: San Francisco onsite 2 days per week

ABOUT THE POSITION & TEAM At Okta, the Global Sales Onboarding Team plays a mission-critical role in accelerating new hire ramp time and providing ongoing enablement support, equipping sellers with the skills, knowledge, and confidence to perform at their best in a highly technical environment

Our approach to sales enablement is a holistic experience that includes self-guided learning, virtual instructor-led trainings, certifications, in-person learning, and immersive experiences

The Field Onboarding Manager, will wear many hats including: strategy, facilitation, content development, coordination, stakeholder management, and measurement of impact. This person will primarily serve our AMER based field audience to drive GTM readiness, through experiences that delight. This person will partner directly with the Enablement Business Partner and sales leaders to identify the needs of the business to best serve our new hires. We’ll teach you the tech; you teach our sellers how to win! Key Responsibilities: Strategic Liaison: Identify ways to drive impact and up level or existing programing, while maintaining tight feedback loops with sales leaders

Program Lead: Manage the end-to-end delivery of the AMER sales onboarding experience

Facilitation & Coaching: Conduct high-impact sessions (virtual and in-person) that engage learners, create a safe space for learning, and achieve learning objectives

Coordination: Not afraid of a spreadsheet, and super detail oriented to ensure events and complex programs run smoothly

Stakeholder Management: Aligns with stakeholders on a predictable ongoing basis to ensure tight feedback loops with sales executives and leaders, and to adjust learning interventions as needed

Measurement of Impact: Uses data driven decision making to influence strategy

Cultivate a High-Energy First Impression: Serve as an ambassador for the Okta sales culture, ensuring every new hire feels welcomed, valued, and energized from Day 1

Multi-Track Program Support: Demonstrate the agility to support onboarding work streams outside of the core Sales segment

Experience & Success Characteristics Product Knowledge Pro: Deep understanding of complex technical products (or an aptitude to learn quickly)

Field Enablement Experience: Experience scaling onboarding programs in high-growth environments; practical sales or quota-carrying experience is preferred

Operational Guru: Proven ability to manage large-scale programs and logistics while juggling competing priorities

Exceptional Facilitator: Comfortable commanding a room to drive behavior change

Continuous Improver: Data-driven mindset focused on speeding up productivity

Tech-forward mindset: Proficiency in Google Workspace and Slack for seamless team collaboration, and experience leveraging Sales Enablement Platforms Meticulous attention to detail: Proven ability to manage complex project logistics, ensuring high-quality, error-free delivery of onboarding materials and training schedules in a fast-paced environment

Highly adaptable with a 'builder' mentality: Comfortable navigating ambiguous environments to create structure, refine processes, and solve problems proactively as business needs evolve

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills: Ability to distill complex technical concepts into simple, actionable training and the presence to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization

Team Player: Willing to pick up the slack for teammates when needed, and willing to show up in a collaborative manner

Requirements 3+ years of experience in enablement, onboarding, or SaaS sales

Strong knowledge of CIAM and security landscapes, or strong aptitude for learning

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience as a requirement

Willingness to travel 10–15% as business needs require

#LI-onsite P19959 The annual base salary range for this position for candidates located in the San Francisco Bay area is between: $143,000 — $196,900 USD Below is the annual base salary range for candidates located in California (excluding San Francisco Bay Area), Colorado, Illinois, New York and Washington. Your actual base salary will depend on factors such as your skills, qualifications, experience, and work location. In addition, Okta offers equity (where applicable), bonus, and benefits, including health, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), flexible spending account, and paid leave (including PTO and parental leave) in accordance with our applicable plans and policies.
