About this role

We're hiring an Associate Director, Authorization Services Operations to join our Insurance Operations team

About the role: You will drive the program governance and KPI/operational metrics setting and reporting for the Authorization Services Team. Additionally, you will support the strategy and implementation of special projects and will deploy tactics that allow us to enhance our overall program value

You will report into the Senior Director, UM Optimization and Strategy

Work Location: This is a remote position, open to candidates who reside in: Atlanta, Georgia. You will be fully remote; however, our approach to work may adapt over time. Future models could potentially involve a hybrid presence at the hub office associated with your metro area. #LI-Remote Pay Transparency: The base pay for this role is: $162,453 - $213,220 per year. You are also eligible for employee benefits, participation in Oscar's unlimited vacation program and annual performance bonuses

Responsibilities: Accountable for operational reporting (progress against KPIs and operational metrics) and forecasting (FTEs needed) for all production teams Identify and monitor progress against all KPIs (leadership level) and operational metrics (more regularly monitoring - IP / OP auth/k, avg case time to resolution, cases/hr, etc.) and driving insights to feed to downstream teams Set, drive and implement the department strategy to enhance program's overall value including determining and uncovering new opportunities Identify and drive execution of cost-savings opportunities by collaborating with key departments Program management of important company and department strategy programs Continuously evaluate financial and performance metrics dashboards to drive performance improvement and create dashboards for Senior Leadership report outs Support the budgeting process and the fiscal performance for the team in association with the leadership team Guide overall program governance and accountability for producing executive leadership materials (e.g., Board, QBR, Strategic Updates, Operational Readouts) Compliance with all applicable laws and regulations Other duties as assigned Requirements: 7+ years experience in healthcare strategy and operations, and/or related field 4+ years of experience managing individual contributors 3+ years project planning experience Bonus points: Master's degree Utilization Management experience Management Consulting experience with a focus on healthcare Experience in leading large-scale cross functional initiatives Experience with Excel and financial modeling experience <p
