About the Role As a Strategic Sourcing Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies, negotiating with various vendors, and partnering closely with cross-functional teams to deliver on business objectives for the Spend Money Wisely team (Verkada’s take on Strategic Sourcing). Your primary focus will involve negotiating strategic deals, optimizing the technology portfolio through vendor consolidation opportunities, and providing strategic guidance to functional partners in balancing new features, seat/usage expansion, and rip-n-replace initiatives. You will lead sourcing initiatives, manage vendor relationships, work closely with Legal, Security, and Finance teams, and ensure cost efficiency and value optimization across Verkada’s technology portfolio. A key focus will be to create and deliver category strategies

What You'll Do Lead the development and implementation of strategic sourcing initiatives for technology portfolio procurement
Negotiate complex, high-value contracts and agreements with strategic vendors
Identify and execute vendor consolidation opportunities to optimize the technology portfolio
Provide strategic guidance to functional partners on procurement decisions, balancing new features, seat/usage expansion, and rip-n-replace considerations & initiatives
Build and maintain vendor relationships, ensuring performance and compliance with contracts
